College Seniors Win Fulbright Scholarships
Congratulations to Emory College seniors Jessica Sellinger and Jonathan Jackson who were recently awarded Fulbright scholarships to teach English as a second language abroad next year. Both recipients will act as teaching assistants for English as a second language (ESL) classes or English classes in foreign countries. Sellinger, a Spanish and Latin American studies double major will spend ten months in Cantabria, Spain and Jackson, a sociology and religion double major with a German minor will teach in Germany.
Emory Fulbright Scholar Visits Turkey
In 2008, Lee Pasackow, Business Librarian for the Goizueta Business School, received a Fulbright Senior Specialist grant to visit Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey. The primary goals of her visit were to share her experience in library instruction, reference services, and collection development; collaborate with faculty; and reach out to students.
