The Sheth Distinguished International Alumni Award

The Sheth Distinguished International Alumni Award, established by the generous gift of Madhu and Jagdish Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing, seeks to recognize Emory University's international alumni who have distinguished themselves in service to universities, governments, private sector firms, and nongovernmental organizations.

Leila McWhinney-DehaneyLeila McWhinney-Dehaney is chief nursing officer at the Jamaica Ministry of Health, chair of the Regional Nursing Body of CARICOM, a member of the World Health Organization’s Global Leadership Collaborative, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. She has also served as an advisor to a major research initiative at the University of West Indies School of Nursing to strengthen nurses' capacity for HIV policy development in sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean.
